About The Bangladesh Human Rights Welfare Trust (BHRWT)
Bangladesh Human Rights Welfare Trust (BHRWT) is a dedicated voluntary, non-profit and non-political organization working for ensure legal aid, peace and to upholding human rights all over Bangladesh. BHRWT is the biggest entity for human rights preservation in Bangladesh accredited by UN, UNESCO, International Commission of Jurists and many more. This organization has almost 500 branches all over Bangladesh and is working selflessly and non-violently to serve people justice and ensure their rights. Many reputed and honorable individuals including lawyer, journalist, doctor, professor and socialists are working as a part of this organization. Also, significant number of female and tribal members can be seen in BHRWT.
The members all over the country is working relentlessly for the elimination of injustice, violence, oppression and establish the justice and human rights practice by providing free legal aid, inspect and publish reports in human rights magazine and assure support of the authority. BHRWT operates workshops, seminars, distribute posters and leaflets to create awareness about human rights. Other important activities include publication of human rights magazine, inspection and assistance in local and national elections, distribute relief in times of disaster, promote self-development activities and provide rehabilitation for needed. The HQ along with its branches provide help and support to more than 40,000 helpless man, women and children.
